Steps: How to Use The Biobase Semi-Auto Chemistry Analyzer

  1. Connect the water pipes to the connector
  2. Install water pipes at the outlet of the analyzer
  3. Connect the other end of the water pipe to the water bucket at the bottom.
  4. Connect the power cable to the socket and turn on the switch.
  5. The biochemistry analyzer will start a self-test process and gives a sound when ready.
  6. Get the touch pen and use it to operate the instrument.
  7. Take the print paper that comes with the machine and install it in the in-built printer.
  8. After installing the printing paper, take the cuvettes.
  9. Insert the cuvettes in the incubation area.
  10. Once the LCD screen displays the readings open the and program setup.
  11. Use the touch-pen to enter the sample parameters. Use ALB as an example.
  12. The screen will show; Program name, program method, program unit, aspirate volume, main filter, sub filter, delay time, and test time.
  13. Use the drop-down arrows to adjust and select the parameters.

The End Point Settings: Delay Time is 10 seconds, Test Time is 5 seconds

Kinetic: Delay Time is 30 seconds and Test Time is 60 seconds.

  1. When done setting that page, select the next button.
  2. Page 2 contains Linearity Low, Blank Low and Blank High,  Linearity High, Normal Low, and Normal High.
  3. When done setting up, select next and go to page 3. It contains STD, Number of STD, CONC which is calibration, Control Value which is QC, Control which is either H, M, L or NO, Cuvette Temperature, and Dilution Factor.
  4. Save program setup.
  5. Continue adding additional reagent information at the program setup platform.
  6. Ensure you enter the parameters according to the reagent instructions.
  7. In case you need to make any changes, select the Program Modify option.

The Biobase biochemistry analyzer requires deionized water for cleaning the pipe. When you need to clean the analyzer, select the cleaning button and do it three times. For the preparation of the solution; add a reagent in the tube, add a sample, oscillate the mix, and incubate. Set the incubation time then begin the test.

  • Start by setting AD water blank, and check AD value displayed.

  • OD water blank, remove the water from the outlet to a cup.

  • Test the calibration. Get the calibration liquid from the instrument outlet.

  • Test the quality control by getting the QC liquid from the analyzer outlet.

  • Press PUSH on the LCD screen to Aspirate sample.

  • Adjust the delay time and save the program test when done.
