Physicians use the Dymind 3-part Hematology Analyzer to carry a complete blood count (CBC). They use the results from the Dymind to determine the patient’s general health. The blood count includes; white blood cells, red blood cells, haemoglobin, haematocrit levels, and platelet counts. The size and volume of blood cells in the Dymind Full Haemogram are calculated using Coulter’s Principle.
The sample of blood from the patient is lysed and then dissolved into a container that has a smaller container immersed inside it, containing an electrolyte solution. The solution in the smaller container is kept running through two pumps that run out and into the smaller container respectively. One pump runs the solution out of the container and creates a vacuum while the other pump refills the solution into the vacuum creating a continuous flow. The smaller container has an orifice near the container's bottom.
This Hematology Analyzer applies Coulter’s principle by using two electrodes. The internal electrode is contained in the smaller container while the external electrode is within the blood sample solution that is found in the bigger container. The vacuum pulls the sample solution through the orifice (small hole).
In turn, the cell causes resistance (electrical) as it passes via the orifice to the current. The recorded resistance is measured and amplified. The amplified resistance is processed and thereafter processed for interpretation into a histogram by a computer.

In terms of portability, the Dymind offers convenience as it contains a bearable weight of 25kg. This makes it possible for physicians to carry it around. In cases of emergency where a test is required outside the hospital, the Dymind Hematology Analyzer can be carried to the scene and a test conducted. Through this, Medicare can be enhanced through fast delivery of services (tests and results).
The Dymind 3-part Hematology Analyzer utilizes top technology: Waveform differentiation technology, pulse baseline tracking technology, and intelligent floating threshold technology. Waveform differentiation, pulse baseline tracking, and intelligent floating threshold help to differentiate the white blood cells into three categories (lymphocytes, neutrophils, and monocytes) at a faster rate.
Reliability is a fundamental factor when purchasing any equipment. Dymind Hematology Analyzer offers high-level reliability through huge storage. This Analyzer stores 50,000 sample results, patient information, histogram, and parameter. Through this, patient records can be reviewed and revised in case of further analysis.
Time is of the essence and the Dymind Hematology Analyzer ensures that the physicians using it get results as fast as possible. The dual-channel for counting makes the information recorded accurately and recorded within the shortest time. Information; sample results, patient information, histogram, and parameter can be printed out through the built-in thermal printer. The built-in thermal printer in the Dymind Hemogram has multiple templates. The multiple templates make it possible for the information to be relayed in various forms based on the need of the users as fast as possible. In addition to that, this enables the user to access different templates of the printout with a press of a button.
Usability makes the Dymind 3-part Hematology Analyzer favourable equipment through its 10.4 inch TFT touch screen. The screen contains a simple interface that can be used by physicians with basic knowledge of how the Dymind Hematology Analyzer works. This helps to create an easy operation of this analyzer.
The Dymind 3-part Hematology Analyzer is an effective testing tool that can help enhance Medicare by delivering quality tests. In so doing, physicians ought to ensure that they have familiarized themselves with the operations of the machine. This will help physicians effectively operate the Dymind Analyzer and offer sound prescriptions through analysis of the test results.
The technology surrounding the evolution of the Dymind Hematology Analyzer is dynamic. The dynamism of the technology makes it possible for better equipment to be produced. As a result, health facilities should ensure that they adapt to the new technology and purchase the Dymind machine to help reduce the amount of time patients spend undergoing tests and waiting to receive results.
Manufacturers of the Dymind 3-part Hematology Analyzer should ensure that they conduct proper training on the operators of the Dymind. Further mass education should be conducted through avenues such as social media platforms and brochures to ensure the patients also understand how the test is done to win patient confidence.
